My original configuration includes a Gigabyte GA-78LMT S2 motherboard and Corsair CMV4GX3M1A1333C9 4GB RAM.
Now, I am thinking of upgrading my RAM to 8GB and I am considering the Corsair CMZ4GX3M1A1600C9 4GB RAM.

Can anyone tell me if these two RAMs and my Motherboard are compatible with one another or not?

Nobody can tell they will work together or not until you try out. When you mix the RAM there is 50/50 chance they will work or will not work. Even you buy the same specification RAM they may not work too, and if they work together the RAM will run at 1333mhz.

And we always recommend to buy the Kit memory in 2x4GB or 2x8GB, etc, not the single one then add one later.
