So i recently upgraded my PC, but i've got some concerns:
My motherboard CPU power needs a 8 pin, but my PSU has only got a 4 pin for that. Can i use a 8pin PCIe cable for that? Im not planing to overclock the processor.

Specs:
Asus Z170A
i5 6600
8Gb DDR4
750Ti 2Gb

No you can't use the pice connector and in your case you don't even need 8pin eps (with this cpu)
a 4pin eps can do the job don't worry about it

You didn't list your PSU though. If it only has a single 4pin eps then it might be old or low quality.
