Hi, I have recently upgraded to the new BT Home Hub 6, mainly due to poor wireless signals on my old Home Hub 5.
The new Home Hub 6 is a great improvement on Wireless, but anything that is on Ethernet takes an age to negotiate and connect to a website.
I have reset Internet Explorer but still not getting any improvement. I have also done virus sweeps with no effect.
Any ideas please?

Turn of the the 'smart setup' feature. It's on by default and I had issues on LAN when I first got my HH5 as a result.

I'd also make sure you flush all your DNS settings using CMD.

Do all your obvious checks too like make sure your cabling is correctly seated in both your computer and the hub, are the cables CAT5e and above?

It's a good piece of kit! I've managed to get an extra mega of speed on both up and down!

I am not sure but I believe if I change the router some TV stations I get via BT wont work anymore.
The Billion range does look impressive though, way beyond my humble knowledge.
