From 6GB to 8GB (y am i having prolems!)

OK, i had 6GB of RAM in my HP compaq 6000 pro microtower, so i bought another 2gb stick of DDR3 and it worked (i got the bios message that tells you "you now have 8GB of memory, not 6" "press F1 to save" ) so i did... it rebooted and the big bitch that win10 is didn't like it,
can someone help me?, what do i need to do?.

Need a bit of info here, what exactly is "Win 10 didn't like it", it broke up with you and moved back in with it's mother? It won't start? Error messages? Either way, going from 6 to 8 GB will not give you much of an improvement that you'd notice.
