Where can I find a genuine free word and excel 2010 I took the advice of somebody from a site that suggested that I uninstall mine to cure a problem It dint work and now I cannot create any documents

Solution
Thare is no "free" genuine & legal Microsoft Word or Excel. You have to buy it (Microsoft Office).

If you don't want to buy latest version you'll have to re-install the version you were using.
You won't be able to create (or edit existing) Word or Excel documents if those applications aren't installed, but you can open & print (not edit) existing Word or Excel documents with these free viewers from Microsoft:

Word Viewer: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=4

Excel Viewer: https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/download/details.aspx?id=10

Unfortunately I purchased my notebook from a sales site and I do not have any product keys
The person that I bought the item from is failing to respond to any of my email regarding discs or product keys
I suppose the easy solution would be to throw this one away and buy another

there is actually free office you can use :D and it will be the newest versions. go to https://www.office.com/ and right below the top banner you will see "Get started working online for free" and a bunch of office icons below it. click the one you want to use and it will load a free browser version of the program for you to use. it is missing a few features of the paid apps but few the average user would use anyway.

only thing is you do need a MS account to use it and it will save your work to the cloud as default (onedrive space you get with the MS account) but it has the option to download a copy to your pc.

good option until you can buy a new valid key for the full office suite.if you are a student, then office is very cheap to buy. your school will have a code you can enter on the education sales site that will let you buy it real cheap. last time i bought it was 2010 version and it was $20

Why would you buy another laptop because you uninstalled Office? That's like buying a new car when yours runs out of gas. The easy solution is just to install another program for documents that is free. Both Libreoffice and Openoffice are free.

And the online tip also will work.
