So, after some research I just realised you cant enter BIOS the old way on Windows 10.
You have to disable fast startup. Then go to windows, settings, update and security, recovery, restart now, troubleshoot, advanced options. After this some say go to start up settings and then restart. Others say press startup repair.

I've tried both alternatives above. Once restarted, I see the monitor turns black and keybaord restarts. Keyboard lits up again like you restarted and that you have something on the screen. But the screen is just black. Nothing happens.
If I manually restart the computer from here it turns back to regular restart to enter windows 10 again.

So what is wrong? I feel like the computer doesnt notice my monitor doing this way and that I might actually be in bios but I dont see anything on my screen.

I would really appriciate some help since I cant find any more information for this.

As a matter of fact that is incorrect, Windows 10 does allow you to enter BIOS by pressing either DEL or f2. What is your motherboard?

No I'm using a displayport. I'm using a Asus Rog Swift PG348Q.

Reedo_43, what do you mean by: Do you mean ultra fast boot? If so, you need to clear your cmos to default.

But thanks, then I know it should work with F2 or Del. It might be my keayboard then?
I've heard that some keyboard doesnt actually start before windows start. I'm using a newer mechanical RGB keyboard so might be something with that one maybe? Will try an old keyboard tomorrow

Update.

Something is really fishy here. I did as you said with this keybaord pressing down F2 button as well pressing del button simultainiously. What hapend was I only got black screen. I stayed there for 2 minutes then restarted computer manually.
After that computer start up but black screen, keyboard started to flash and then light off as well as mouse. Did like this for 5 or 6 times and then windows started normaly again.

I swear that that there is something on the screen but I cant see it due to something.
Might it be due to the displayport or this super new monitor that I am using?

I swear you should try to access the BIOS with a VGA cable perhaps, or a DVI.

Hi

If you have a recent pc supplied with win 10 or 8 and UEFI instead of bios then windows will do fast startup and fast shutdown

This makes it difficult to get into uefi configuration or windows safe mode

To get to uefi or start in safe mode you need to hold shift key while clicking on restart
Then follow path to uefi or safe mode

There are Slight variations for 8.0 or 8.1 or 10

If you have an older pc with bios not uefi usually these steps are not needed

CMOS is a circuit that keeps your BIOS information stored so you don't have to set it up every time you turn on the pc. In order to clear the CMOS settings you have to either change the CMOS jumper to the clear position on the motherboard or take the battery on the motherboard out and put it back in.

I came to think of one thing. My motherboard: https://www.asus.com/se/ROG-Republic-Of-Gamers/MAXIMUS_V_GENE/

This one is four years old and I never updated BIOS(never got a feeling I needed to since it's been running perfectly)
But maybe thats why I cant reach BIOS with displayport cable?

Will still try a DVI cable and see if it works
