DDR4 OC to 3200MHz

That's a 32GB set, and you said 64 - you got two packs of these? No guarantee the two sets will work at 3200, but try starting with one set, enable XMP, profile 1, save, exit shutdown - then try adding the other . May need an OC on the CPU and might also need to add voltage to the DRAM and/or MC to run 3200

You are correct. I have two of those kits. I figure that since my board supports Dual-Channel mode only, and they are all rated for 3200 MHz, it should be no problem?

To give more details, I have a 6600k that I have not OCed at all. Also, one pair of RAM will not POST with XMP enabled.

How should I go about OCing the CPU and RAM to try and hit that 3200MHz number? Or should I try and settle for lower speeds? It seems like a waste to buy RAM rated so highly and have it running at 2166MHz or whatever the default speed is.

No dice, even when OCed to 4.2GHz. Did I miss anything with the overclock? I just changed the multiplier to 42.

Best,
