SSDs vs smartphones: how often do their flash storage fail?

How often do SSDs fail compared to smartphones? I have never heard of anyone's iPhone dying because the flash storage failed. Don't SSDs and smartphones both use flash storage?
 
Solution
SSD failures aren't all that common either. And remember every time you save something to an SSD, you're writing to it. Every time you load something from an SSD you read from it. That adds up after a while.

That link says cell phones (not sure if it means smartphones) use eMMC, which is lower quality than SSD flash. But my observation is that SSDs will occasionally fail, and I've never heard of a smartphone failing.

Come to think of it... slhardware has a point...Why does phones last long than SSD.... maybe it's because The manufacturer made a quality that is not long lasting..I hope we can have an asnwer..
