Thanks for all help!! I just know that that's a lot of money and just looking at the costs makes me a bit winded (albeit I know gaming pc's are going to be expensive for the better side of things but still).

Both gaming screens apparantly have 4K but i disnt know that about the graphics card. And it's in usa currency to specify (idk if that's what you meant). Is there a better alternative to anyone's knowledge I want a great 4K gaming laptop

well if you are rich and want to burn some money your only option is 1080 SLI to run 4K resolution at good FPS.

its your money lol

now enough joking ,

get FHD screen or 1440P, and a single mobile GTX 1070/1080 ... you dont need to spend much , you wont feel the difference between 4K and FHD on 17 inch

So this "laptop" has has actual space for 4 physical SSD drives? In 2 different RAID 0 arrays?

Such things don't really exist since you can barely build a desktop that will run 4K well in all conditions with all options turned up.

Assuming Sager can cram all that stuff in, yeah, it'll run stuff decently, but it still probably won't be a great experience, and 17" isn't really going to give you much of the benefit of the extra resolution.

Plus you're basically asking for data failure running two separate RAID-0 arrays.

Alright so would it be fair so get the first one with the same as the first but with only one raid-0 array and with a FHD screen or 1440p at 17 in? I want atleast high but would prefer ultra resolution and they can cram all of that in these were taken off there site after i customized them from standard. I am also willing to go 15 in as well

No problem lol, and no I haven't. I assume that's worth checking into? I am very new to gaming pc's and only know a limited amount like individual aspects such as ssd's and cpu's but not those in tandem. (Also I don't know how to quote sorry samer1970) just saw that after I posted and refreshed the page I'll check em out now

Samer1970 I looked and watched the video (sorry it took so long to answer) and I like the laptops (I prefer the 1080 over the 1070 at this point) but I am not too sure about the style of the laptop aka keyboard and such. Is it hard to get used to or is it just different but still very viable? I also looked a bit and saw this https://gaming.msi.com/products/notebook/gt-series?link=GT73VR-6RF-Titan-Pro#undefined
It seems to be the same thing with a different keyboard layout and a smaller screen. If I don't choose the titan with the mechanical keyboard would this be just as viable? Also thanks for all your help I am semi lost in a storm of info for this. Also would I upgrade it or would it be great enough without upgrading (for now I know I'll have to upgrade eventually)?

Well the Mechanical keyboard is like a standard full size desktop keyboard , it is actually better . but it is up to you to choose .

as for upgrading , I dont think you will need to upgrade soon ... but the GT series is very easy to access the internals.

be sure of the options when you decide to buy any Model . There are many screen options as you can see in the specs.

There are 100% srgb colors 4k monitors , and full hd 120 hz monitors and others

I assume that you want 17 inch or bigger right ?

one more thing , The Acer Predator is also good but without SLI ... but it is not released with GTX 1080 yet .

I would actually second Samer's suggestion of going with an MSI. However I will say that spending that kind of money to game on 4K on a portable system is absurd. When your laptop is at the end of its' useful life, you will not make back what you originally spent on it, and depreciation is nearly double that what it is on a desktop. I'm in the same boat in looking at laptops as mine is dying a slow death. I'm heavily looking into buying one of the MSI 1060 based laptops, mainly the GS73 VR, but even I'm having a hard time trying to justify the $1799 price tag.

That's still too much for both systems. You don't need that much RAM for gaming and you can just get a refund on your system if it comes with a dead pixel. 16GB if you're video editing and 8GB just for gaming only.

The Dual 1080 SLI NP9873-S is too much of an overkill for 4k when it only has a refresh rate of 60hz. 1 1080 already runs most games above 60fps. There's an article about 4k laptops, it goes into how most people won't see the difference between a 1080p and 4k resolutions unless they're sitting close enough to a laptop and have really good vision.http://

I'm pretty much getting the 9872-S since the 9152-S doesn't even have 75hz as its refresh rate, I don't want any screen tearing while doing anything on my new system. My system specs will pretty much be different and this will be coming from XoticPC.
