Hi all!
Recently I built my little brother a low budget gaming pc and all is working fine except the Graphics Card.

The Motherboard is a MSI H110M Pro-VD and the Graphics Card is a EVGA GeForce GTX460.

The PC boots into the standard onboard graphics and works fine that way but there is no other options in the device manager and Nvidia cannot detect the card. Here are some more details for you:

- Yes I did try plugging it into the card first. I started with a HDMI cord and then tried the DVI also but nothing worked when plugged into the card.

- There is power. The fan runs and you can hear it hum so I know the power is going ok.

- I tried installing my GTX950 and that actually worked and Nvidia installed the driver.

PLEASE HALP.
My brother has always wanted something to game on and although this is basic it is his dream so please help.

Solution
Is the psu a quality unit and does it have the recommended power output for a 460 (500-550w depending on model). 950 only needs 380w.

Failing weak psu, sounds like a dead card - try the 460 in another system.
