EVGA SuperNOVA NEX750B U$80 vs EVGA SuperNOVA 750 B2 Power Supply US$90

I'm new on Tom's , and here in Brazil we have to pay a lot more money to buy stuff. So I need to make the right choise. My friend bought a NEX750B and never use it, I'm thinking about buing it from him. But I'm sure after seeing some reviews for 10 US dolares the NEX750B is classified as Tier 4 and the 750 B2 Tier 2. Do they have that big difference of quality? You can comprare them on EVGA web site here...

I don't see much difference between them, one is single and the other is multirail design. I hope you guys could help!

Thanks a lot!

PS: I have a Haswell i5 4690 not K./ MSI Z97 G45 SLI Gaming MOB / 2x 8gb and 2 HD's and 3 SSD's.

The 750B2 is a great step up - for various reasons. Importantly, the NEXB has 4 separate 12V rails (20A x 12V = 240W). It's never an idea solution to power from separate rails. The 750B2 can provide 62A on the 12V rail = 744W.

There's really no question between them, especially considering such a trivial price difference between them.

Go for the B2.

As an FYI, unless you're SLI'ing or CF'ing 2+ GPU's alongside your 4690, 750W is total overkill regardless.

I appreciate your help! Today, if a buy the the 750B2 on stores I'll pay around R$500 of our money. The cheapest I found was R$450 plus shipping on brazilian "Amazon". I'm also thinking about getting the SEASONNIC S12II-620 that is a TIER 2 Classified and cost R$ 350 on trustfull stores. The reason is... I intend to get a GTX 1070 and a i7 4790K. I dont thing ill need more than 620w even with one GTX 970. What do you think?
