After years I finally built my dream PC.

I've had my PC for about 2 months and while i've been waiting for my 1080 to arrive I borrowed an AMD card off a mate.
I just got my Asus 1080 (o8g model).
Swapped out the cards in my system and booted up. Everything was fine. Display was low res because no drivers had been installed yet but no biggie!
Installed the drivers off the disk and the display returned to normal. "Please reboot your system" Okay sure! Let's see this new card in action!
NOPE!!!
I get an american megatrends error screen that tells me my CPU is overheating. It's apparently 98 degrees now!
Can someone please help?
Edit:Okay the CPU is down to 65/149 degrees now. Still seems high for me. Fans are going crazy though!
