I need a good way to measure temperatures mid-game.

Can anyone tell me of a program/software that will allow me to see my cpu temperature while I'm playing a game? I've tried a few that show it outside of a game, but they haven't worked in game. I'm new to PC gaming so that's why I sound kind of clueless. Thanks for the help.

NZXT's cam is much better than MSI's afterburner. https://camwebapp.com/ I've got both and afterburner is primarily for over clocking and not monitoring the system like cam is.

Afterburner comes with Rivatuner Statistics Server which is only for system monitoring, you need to heavily monitor your system to OC it.

I've also been seeing quiet a few people for who the CAM software has been crippling their computers with stuttering and low usages.

This isn't the first time I've seen the OP comeback and say uninstalling CAM fixed their weird issue: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3160928/50fps-csgo-980.html

Cam works fine for me and I don't like afterburner nor the monitoring software that comes with it.
OC isn't worth it anyway unless you have a card that is very good at it.

That sounds like a personal problem because afterburner is a much more popular monitoring software package.

More popular doesn't equal better
