So I built my computer a few months ago and today it randomly shut down and won't start back up when I hit the power button.

This is my build:

The weird thing is my keyboard and headphones are still lit up. I was initially thinking t it was the power supply, sometimes pressing the power button everything lights up for 1 second sometimes pressing the power button does nothing.

Solution
you just need to plug in DVI or hdmi to the motherboard and check if the system boots with the 300W psu

get into bios and update it there with an usb flashdrive and the BIOS file on it

how hot is the cpu getting in BIOS? Did you overclock the system? ->clear the cmos

boot memtest86+ installed on an usb stick

check hdd and ssd with its manufacturere´s tool

I don't think I heard any click. I feel like this happened weeks ago once and I thought it was a power surge because my computer started back up. The only thing I've done so far is inspect the plug and try running it into another outlet directly bypassing my surge protector.

Well I took an old computer with probably 300w power supply just connected motherboard power and the computer turned on all fans are spinning mother board is staying lit up. I'm assuming if I had video card connected and psu the system would be functioning. This old power supply doesn't have any bells or whistles though.
