To start off i have read almost all the posts on the forums and tried about ever single solution and none have worked. So to explain what happens is i can be playing a game (Smite, Unturned, Supreme Commander, Minecraft) and my pc will freeze. Stays on the last image that it was showing loose all audio. have to hard reset to get it to restart. Usually happens within 10-20mins of playing game. (Just to note i usally have skype going on in the background of my PC)

PC Specs:
(Came with windows 8.1 upgraded to ten and just recently went back to windows 7)
OS: Windows 7 64bit.
Processor: AMD FX 9590 4.70GHz Octa-Core AM3+ RET Wof
Cooling Antec 120MM liquid cooler
Motherboard: Gigabyte AM3+ 4x16 4d3 m32 GL R ATX
Ram: 4x Grucial 8GB DDR3-1866 PC3-14900 Ballistix SPORT
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX980

Power Supply: Ultra 750 Watt Ultra

Just some of the things i have tried
Uninstalling and reinstalling nvidia drivers
Updating all drivers
Clean install of OS
Changing power options
Checking coretemp (Can't tell what core temp is when it freezes because of the fact that i can't alt tab or anything of the sort and im not running dual monitors anymore)

Also i am using HDMI connection
