Can a bad HDD power cable cause weird noise?

I'll try to summarize my situation here as best as I can:
I figured out what's causing the noise from my HDD area, see,at first I thought my HDD was the problem,so I bought a new one.
Then it turns out that the new HDD made that noise too,so I figured out, maybe the case is vibrating but no,I turned on my pc with the HDD's inside but not connected to anything, and the noise was gone.
I'm pretty sure it's the power cable for the HDD's that's causing those noises,it's a power cable that's splitted for a few power connectors, they all come from the same cable.
I think it's a faulty cable,or maybe it's a bit loose connected to the PSU.
But I can't do anything about it,I don't really have any experience with opening PSU's,and the cable management I have with the pc is also a problem to just ruin it all,I got it like that from the store who built it for me.
The noise is a hissing sound you can say,it's not loud, but I really need everything to be
perfect,because it's driving me crazy..
Again, the HDD's are working perfectly,it's just that sudden hissing sound that's driving me nuts, this sound started a few days ago..

Man that sucks so much! I have warranty and all but I'm not the only one who uses the computer,I'm in deep trouble here,
You think this could get worse? cause I've been using it for the past few days and nothing really happened except that annoying noise,it's not loud but it's annoying and it really bothers me,man I don't want to send my pc to them and wait like a week that sucks so much,I'll try calling them and use my warranty.

Hi there evyatar0231,

Have you tried all the connectors?
In case you've done that, then I would totally agree with Petrossa and say that you need to contact the place you got that PSU from and RMA it.
Unstable power supply could damage not only your HDD, but other components as well.

Cheers,

Yeah I'm going to RMA it on Sunday, you think this is an after effect of electrical blackout? because I've had a few of those in the past month, maybe it caused a short?
I hope they will fix it,I'm tired of dealing with this type of crap.

To be honest though I'm pretty sure it's the HDD's cage shaking or something like that,
I'll go to the store and ask them to remove all of the parts from the case and install them again.
And check if the problem persists..

Yeah guys the problem was that the hdd's cage was rattling you can say..
I used electrical tape to make it stable,it's way better now, much more silent..
I'll try maybe a more appropriate solution in the future, maybe acoustic foam, but for now it's fine..
