Good day/night/morning, I m student of graphic design, so my budget is tight and would like to save where i can and don't waste too much money, also prices here(Belgrade - capital of Serbia) are much higher.
I searched on internet and narrowed to few different CPU+motherboard combinations, please help me decide which would give me best performance for money if i plan to use it next 2-3 years minimum.

i5 6500 + cheap h110 motherboard - cheapest option - i don't need many motherboard features anyway
i5 6600k + z170 + cooler - pretty expensive but offers OC option(is this worth paying so much more?)
i7 6700(non-k) + h110 - same price like 6600k option but i get hyper-threading and give up OC
i5 4670k + z97 + cooler - just a bit more expensive than first 6500 option but i get overclocking option while giving up DDR4 and new platform.

Software that I want to use - Adobe CS software like Premiere Pro, AE, PS etc. also now we should start working in blender and maja.
For games well I play games from time to time but I m not one of those everything max players for me medium settings are just fine and 60 FPS, I already have 1080p monitor and might consider going 1440p in future since my friend wants me to sell him this one so I wouldn't lose too much.
On top of that I would probably buy gtx 960 since CUDA cores make real time rendering faster from what I heard.

Solution

The question is what for you are going to use your PC.
If it's for gaming, than there are few additional parameters required to tell you what would be the best.
If it's for studies/work, than you have to check what your software prefers - higher single core performance (overclocked i5) or more threads (i7).
The general rule is to get the best part you can comfortably afford.
The overclocking provides you somewhere between 10 an 25% improvement in performance over stock clocks (depending on the cooling solution, your luck and your skill). K CPUs are also higher clocked by default. Is it worth the premium ? up to you.
Basically, get the best thing you can comfortably afford.
BTW, till the end of the year, 200 series of chipset will be released. You might want to get one of those to have the option to upgrade a CPU to some newer model at some point later.

Solution
the 6600k is according to benchmarks @4.4GHz 3% faster than the 6600. that might increase at higher clocks.
hyperthreading is nice but there aren't too many applications that support hyperthreading to a degree it would be beneficial. as of now, single core performance is mostly the go to (except for tasks like video editing and stuff like that)
If money is of concern to you I'd go with a 6500 (best bang for the buck) + a better H110/B150 board. buying the cheapest board possible is never a good idea.

So what h110/b150 board would you suggest, I don't need many features that is why I would get something like MSI h110m PRO-D and similar ones, my keyboard/mouse use USB 2.0, also my external HDD is 2.0 and only 3.0 device is my cellphone, I plan to have 1 internal HDD and 1 SSD so SATA ports are not problem to me either, m.2 and crossfire/sli don't really look appealing to me if i go with i5 6500, it might be good for future proofing but I would rather buy new parts in 2 years when they come out and when warranty on this is over.

Get i7 nothing less for Premiere pro and after effect and Maya .. you will benefit from more threads .

you will need GTX 950 or better ..

ignore i5 all together , and get minimum 16GB of RAM .

I think even in Serbia the Xeon E3 1230 V5 is cheaper than i7 6700 , try to find it
