I'm on a tight budget.. I am getting the Palit GTX 950 2 GB and a HyperFury 8 GB Ram..
Will be playing at a 768p resolution

A8 7600 seem to have good FPS on games as seen on youtube

I've seen vids that show the G4400 beating the Athlon 860k (Which is a think is equivalent to the A10- 7860k) in terms of FPS.

I don't have enough cash for a 7860k or i5's my only options are the A8 7600 and G4400 so which should I get? they're practically priced the same in my country. Thank in advance bros!

Solution
The Pentium has cores that are close to twice as fast, while the A8 has twice as many cores. Some games will run poorly on the A8 due to slow cores, and some will run slowly on the Pentium due to too few cores. Given that the A8 has basically no upgrade path, I would pick the Pentium. If you ever wanted a significantly faster CPU, you'd have to move over to an Intel platform anyway. At least with the Pentium you can just drop in a new CPU.

G4400- ECS H110M4-C3D
A8 7600- ASUS A68HM-K
Relatively cheap motherboards again Im really on a limited budget..

Everything will be new so depending on which processor i'll decide to buy the respective motherboard will follow. THanks for the reply

Thanks bro that's very logical.. I I saw a vid where G4400 suffered with fallout 4 and witcher 3 with the FPS going down to mid 30s. Though I have not seen much GTX950+A87600 i don't think it'll go that low.. or am I wrong?

Fallout might run a better on the A8, but there are examples of other games (Arma3, GW2 come to mind) which are nearly twice as fast on the Pentium. Both are relatively weak, low-end CPUs, so expect poor performance in some games with either.

So which would you prefer? average of 40+ fps is good enough for me

Ive seen benchmarks with the F-4300 A8 5600k and 6600 and they are the same as the a8 7600 to some measure..

The fx 4300 is 25% faster mate - trust me on that.
You're looking 10fps more generally & thats a big difference.

Then bear in mind it's unlocked so can be overclocked (as can any 8 series amd k chip)

The 7600 is locked at 65w & 3.1ghz - that will kill fps running a gtx950.
