Will everything in this build work correctly? (measurements, etc?)

Hey, so currently I have not so much of a bad build... but it's decent for games right.
Although, the temps on this computer are quite a big issue haha, and it gets dusty quite fast.
For christmas, or after even, I will be upgrading a few parts in my PC, and also adding, (Which I can't wait for!) I'm on a £500 budget, hence why I'm adding parts, instead of buying a whole new PC. Will all the new parts work and all the measurements will be fine? e.g. cooler won't get in the way of ram sticks, etc.

Current Build
CPU: Intel Core i7 4790 @ 3.60 GHz
CPU Cooler: Intel Stock Cooler (I know, terrible.)
GPU: MSI GeForce N750Ti 2GD5/OCV1
Motherboard: Gigabyte H81M-S2H
HDD: 1TB Seagate (main drive)
RAM: 2X8GB Corsair VengeanceLP
PSU: EVGA 500W
Case: Galaxy Evolution Black Case (with LED's)

New build for christmas / after
CPU: Intel Core i7 4790 @ 3.60 GHz
CPU Cooler: Hyper 212X
GPU: EVGA Nvidia GTX 970 SSC ACX Cooling 2.0 4GB
Motherboard: Gigabyte H81M-S2H
HDD: 1TB Seagate (going to be used for games only after upgrade)
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB 2.5 Inch
RAM: 2X8GB Corsair VengeanceLP
PSU: EVGA Supernova 650 W Gs Gold 80+
Case: NZXT S340
Extras: 2x AF120 120mm Corsair Fans (quiet edition)

I would not recommend buying a GTX 970 right now. You can probably find a 1060 near the same price point, or a RX 480 or 470 for the same or cheaper and get better performance. I don't see any conflicts though.

Hi,

The 970 is 3.5GB not 4 and NVidia is compensating people who bought it duo to GPU architecture problem. Also it seems it same or cost more than 1060 so go with 1060 is better. Also for gaming keep the games on the SSD and the other harddisk for applications/data..etc. The PSU + the Case are super good for cabal management and good for cooling with more fans you have.

Note: The cooler might be noisy at high rpm.

Regards,

Don't forget, I'm on a budget + I'd most likely have to upgrade PSU to a 700W or a 750W :p

Oh right, but wait... would the PSU work with a 1060 still?
