Hi Everyone,
I have recently purchased 2 Noctua Industrial 2000 rpm pwm fans. They havent arrived yet but i wanted to ask now. Im going to use them on my h100i v2 and wantes to ask if 1. The Cpu fan header is enough for both the pump and fans and 2. If you can control the fans with the fan controller in the Aio.
Thanks you
Lars

The corsair H100i is designed to control its own fans to keep the CPU temperature under control. Chaning to other fans can be done with a little work. The H100i has a cable coming out of the pump unit that e4nds in a pair of custom fan connectors. These mate with the connectors on the ends of the fans that come with it. As far as I can teel, these are NOT the same as common fan connectors. So, to switch to those Noctuas, you would need to splice the non-standard connectors from the H100i's fans onto the wires for the Noctua fans. Then the H100i can control them. That control uses some power from the mobo CPU_FAN header, but the actual control is done by the Corsair Link software (download free from their website) and you MUST connect...

I am no sure what control system you mean when you say, "control the fans with the fan controller in the Aio". But I'm guessing you mean some other system that would NOT use the Corsair controls and leave you doing manual control. That means no temperature-based automatic control - YOU are the brains who decides when and how to set fan speeds. If you do ti this way, then no modifications to your Noctuas will be needed.
