hi guy and gurl
i want to try out linux but i want to try them one after another, keep each distro for a week or so and then change to another.
question is how do i make it as easily as possible?
i mean i need 2 partitions and for example install firefox on my "not system partition", then each time i will install a new distro it wont matter if it come with programs or not i will have my firefox and other programs.
1 problem to this is where firefox saves my data? is it like on windows that it have folder for users and so on?can i make it save data not only from firefox on my "not distro partition"?

QUESTION IN SHORT- i want to save user data [firefox etc...] not on system partition so when i format and install different linux distro i will not have to start copy pasting folders and so on.

sorry for the mess in advance.

Due to the different ways that various linux distribution handle packages you can not keep the Firefox binary across different linux distributions. You can keep all the application data and documents and themes etc though just have a separate /home partition.
