I have Sapphire Dual X R9 270X 2GB GDDR5, i wanted to update its bios, and then when i restarted my pc i got a blue scrren error saying something like ati or whatever and restarting over again and again, i got past it by using my integrated intel gpu, and unistalling every driver from amp and intel, and then i tried to boot into windows and installing the drivers for my r9 270x and it fails everytime because of the blue screen, i don't know what to do, i backed up my default bios before installing the new one, but i can't install it until i instal the gpu drivers ( atleast i think so )

Any help is REALLY appreciated.

Thanks, Daniel.

Hi, I am not sure I understand the solution. Did the person with the problem solve the problem to get the graphic card working where old drivers were removed (all old drivers cleaned out of hard drive) and then he used the first original driver for that card? Or is he referring to his onboard GPU drivers that he got work again after the card failed? And by bios does he mean the graphics card bios.
EDITED: sorry, lack of info from me. I have same R9 270X Dual X card which seemed to kind of artifact only in middle of screen and then recover twice, leaving me to think it was a screen problem and later the card stopped responding even when moving the graphics card in and out of different PCs and changing cables. I now have a new motherboard and a Sapphire HD5770 which is my older graphics card working in a dual PXCI-E x16 slot motherboard.
I bought this card second hand but there seems to be solutions to this common kind of R9 270X card problem.
I am slow to understand how to go about correcting the problem I should say at the beginning of my ^^^ stuff.

Thank you for responding.
I have a Sapphire R9 270X Dual X card which seemed to kind of artifact only in the middle of the screen twice and the graphics recovered twice and rebooting the PC. This left me thinking the problem was a screen problem but later the card stopped responding even when moving the graphics card in and out of different PCs and using different screens and changing cables.
The last time I tried to used the graphic card the screen was blank and the PCs would not even boot up to the one usual first Bios beep.
I notice however the symptoms are very similar to other peoples R9 270X problem reports so I have hope for a solution.
EDITED: I think I understand how to cope with the problem now. It seems to require the removal of all instances of R9 270X ATI drivers, or are they Radeon drivers nowdays, then installing the card then updating to the manufacturers drivers and not updating to the latest Radeon drivers. I will get back to you here when I get about to do these things, thanks.
