Limiting GPU Fan Speed Between 2 Values

Hello, I have a Sapphire R9 280X Dual-X edition GPU and I want to know if there is a way to use the auto fan speed or similar feature that is built into AMD Catalyst without the fans going above 35%. This is because they become audible over my other fans and with my headset on past that point.

I have tried using AMD Overdrive but because I have an Intel CPU it won't work. If anyone directs me to a page on the AMD website that shows someone changing the R9 Fury Series with target temperatures etc. then I have tried using it but the options are not there.

Sorry if that sounded mean but it wouldn't be the first time I have been directed to an obvious website that I have already tried.

Thank you so much for your answers in advance.

Regards,
Steppy

Solution
you could try msi afterburner. https://gaming.msi.com/features/afterburner (it doesn't really matter if card is from sapphire as far as I know.)
It allows you to set the fan curve based on GPU temp as you want.
(settings, fan tab)
Bear in mind that limiting it to maximum of 35 will 99.9% likely lead to thermal throttling quite easily since 200's tend to be a bit on the hot side. Due to that I wouldn't really recommend it but... it is your computer and card.

Download MSI Afterburner, go into the settings and enable user defined fan speeds.
From there you can set your own curve, what speeds at what temperatures.

I personally dont recommend keeping fans that low. If the temps stay down its fine, but 35% seems drastically low for a 280x.

Thanks guys for the quick response. My GPU actually stays relatively cool due to my case fans and good air flow with it peaking running Shadow of Mordor on High Custom settings at around 67 to 68 degrees Celsius and on The Witcher 3 on similar settings it peaks at around 65 degrees Celsius.

Will try Afterburner and get back to you. THanks both of you for the quick response.

Steppy
