Ran Troubleshooting on the device; indicates PnP device not working; unable to install/update device. Any ideas welcomed, please? Thx

1. new batteries needed?
2. UEFI bios? If so does mouse work in bios?
2a. If mouse works in bios - move wireless dongle to different usb port. Forces reinstall of driver.
2b. If mouse works in bios - check device manager for other device problems that might cause your mouse grief
3. Try mouse in a different PC
4. replace: it's a $15 part.
