Hello,

I have fairly new system (around 2 months old) and it has started crashing more and more frequently, under stress and in normal use. Every time it crashesh I can still hear any music/video that is playing at the same time but the screen goes black (sometimes other colors; gray, puprle or pink). I'm suspecting it could have something to do with the GPU. I have tried multiple different cables/ports and updated my BIOS. Everything is running at stock clocks and nothing is overheating.

TL;DR: System is randomly crashing and giving random colored screen whilst any sound is still playing.

My system is:

OS: Win 10 64bit
mobo: Asus Z170-P
GPU: Sapphire RX480
CPU: Intel i5 6600k
RAM: 16Gb of Kingston 2133MHz DDR4
PSU: XFX 550W
Boot SSD: Samsung 500Gb 850 evo

Thanks in advance for any answers.

Solution
Your probably right about the video card. My son had the same problems recently and I had to buy him another video card to fix his computer. Thought it was the power supply but i had a spare around to try and it turned out to be the video card.
