I have a seasonic 750 watt psu and I have overclocked fx6300, overclocked RX 480 card, 4 case fans, h80i water cooler with one radiator fan , one ssd and one hhd.

Ok my hard drive has been acting up, sometimes not showing up in windows or bios. read and write speeds are also very slow according to samsung magician software. I started looking over how I had it connected to psu today. The hard drive, h80i pump and dvd burner was on same sata power cable. I thought maybe the drive was starved for power. Today the drive wouldn't power on at all so i went and got a new drive. Connected new and old hard drive to same sata power cable and neither would power on. disconnected cable from psu and there was an oily substance on the connector. I have no idea what. none of the other connections on psu is like this. I plugged the drives into another connection on psu and they powered on. The old drive still messes up so I guess its bad but what about that power connection on psu. probably bad?
