Hello.

Am I able to switch the stock blower cooler on the EVGA GTX 480 with another one? I found the Arctic Accelero Xtreme III, but I don't feel like spending $60. Are there any alternatives?

Solution
I bought the arctic dual fan cooler for about $60 and put it on my zotac gtx 760 and it was far better than the single blower fan cooler it came with stock, it allowed a nice overclock. Personally I would recommend either that or the triple fan version if you think it will fit in your case, the dual fan made the card shorter length but also taller and thicker due to the gpu being in the middle of the card, it was also rated for up to 250 watts I believe. I did not use the backplate, instead I used small heatsinks for each ram chip on the front and rear of the card, made possible an extra 1ghz on the ram and something like 200mhz on the gpu.
