Upgrade from 750Ti for $130-150

I currently have an EVGA 750Ti Superclocked that I want to upgrade. The reason I want to upgrade is my girlfriend is building a pc and I told her I would give her my card if I upgrade to save her some money. Only thing about it is I have about $150 to upgrade with. Is there a card in this price range (preferrably with 4GB VRAM) that I can reasonably purchase or are we better off with her getting a different 750Ti?

Current build:

FX-6300 processor OC to 4.1GHz
8GB Ripjaws G.Skill Memory
msi 970a-g43 MoBo
CX430W PSU (Will upgrade if needed)

I upgraded from my GTX 750 Ti SC just a couple months ago to a GTX 950 SC. It only has 2GB but it beats the RX 460 4GB by a few frames per second in most games.

If you can find a GTX 960 for less than $150 that would be better, but you won't find a 4GB for that price. The only 4GB card that would be worth getting would be the RX 460, but like I said the GTX 950 get's better framerates. Just watch some comparison videos, although there is one where they use a low power 950 that isn't as good.

Thanks for the help! I might buy that either this week or next depending on when I get paid and whether or not I find something else but that is a really solid GPU for $120 (shipping included)

+NotTooBadwithHardware For $150 (after rebate card) you could buy a new GTX 960 on NewEgg; there are both 2 and 4 GB versions. However, if you instead saved up $250 in the near future, you could upgrade to a GTX 1060, which is what I would do in your position. Selling the GTX 750 Ti, could bring you within throwing distance of that card, if you added the proceeds to the $150 (top end of your budget).

The other choice is purchasing used off Ebay or Craigslist. For $190, I see a slew of used GTX 970's; 4 GB of VRAM (3.5 GB). I think it would be challenging to find a used GTX 970 for $150, but if you can do so, then I would suggest buying it.

I am keeping the card to give to my gf. That's why the budget is so low. I originally planned to sell the card to do exactly that (get the 1060) but she said she wanted to build a pc so I'm giving her the card as a gift.
