I apologize in advanced if this isn't the place for this kind of thread, but I feel like this is where I could get my answer. I currently stream to twitch with once PC. My specs are an i7-4790k, GTX 970, 8gb ram.
My current issue is that while I have my OBS set to stream at 720 30 (downscaled from 1080) I am currently having some issues pop up where my frame rates on obs drop below 30, while my CPU load is only around 40%. I am unsure why it would be doing this. Again, I understand this is more of a software issue but I believe that streaming/encoding has a lot to do with CPU so hopefully I can get some tips or get pointed in the right direction. Thanks!
