CPU Fan and Uploading Videos?

Hello,
Why does the fan keep spinning ( almost with a med-high spinning ) while I am uploading a video to Youtube and leaving my laptop idle ( Size of the Video is 255 MB and takes 1 hour to upload )

The temps of the CPU is 60 C and then the fan is keeping spinning.

Oh my god, so won't this high-med spinning for 1 hour make a harm to the fan or is it okay?

Thanks.

The fan probably keeps at full because there is something running in background. Please check Task Manager to see what is causing it. And no, cpu fans were made to spin when needed, this won't cause any damage to the fan.

Hello notlim981,
First, I want to thank you for your quick reply. :)

I did checked the Task Manager to see CPU usage only between 5-9 %
Can you please check the picture and see if anything is doing this?

Some processes take 0.1 % while others only take 0 %

I am somewhat sure that after the uploading, the spinning will stop. But is uploading to Youtube considered Streaming? I heard that Streaming videos uses the CPU. But strange the CPU temp is only 60 while uploading.

If it happens ONLY when uploading to YT, then it's probably because the file you're uploading is huge in size and YT is re-encoding it.

And no, as far as I know it, uploading is by no means considered streaming.

Yeah. Indeed. Youtube does some strange changes to the file even if it's FLV, so that doesn't affect the fan?
Because it worries me that spinning for 1 hour at high speed.

It does spin at high speed for many hours when I am playing Playstation 2 games using PCSX2 but I don't allow it to run continuously for 1 hour like that, I only play for about 30 minutes and close PCSX2 in order for the fan to rest and stop spinning for a while.

Like I said, do not worry about the fan, that's why it's there in the first place, so your processor won't fry.
