I recently upgraded from the integrated graphics on my AMD A10 cpu to a gtx 1060. After installing it and updating my drivers(including removing the old ones) and even doing a fresh windows install, my desktop extends past the edges of my monitor. It is set to a native resolution of 1360x768 when it was 1920x1080. I have checked the resolution and even used NVIDIA control panel to resize the desktop to make it fit, but the screen stays blurry and distorted. I also switched from VGA to HDMI when I upgraded, which is something to consider.
