I'm new to this website so sorry in advance. I am looking to upgrade my graphics card from a 760 to either a 1070 or a 1080. I Just need to know if it will work in my motherboard. I currently have Acer as the system manufacture, and the System model is Predator G3-605. Any help would be greatly apprecaited it. I need an Upgrade as I am going to college 5 hours from home and I need things to do on my off time. I'm not worried about my power supply, it is a 500w 80 Gold PSU, but I do not know if the card will fit in my case. How can I determine if it will without overheating?

The GTX 1080 is 1.0 inches bigger and it looks like i have about 3.5 inches room left in the case.
I'm leaning more towards the 1080 by the way. I'm willing to spend the 650-700 for it.
