Hey! I am currently building my first pc and have run into an issue with the SSD I bought. I bought a Samsung 850 Evo 500gb msata ssd instead of a regular SATA ssd. My mother board, Asus Z170A only has onboard port for m.2 Should I sell the Samsung Evo or just buy an adapter for it? Also what would be a good adapter for it and how well would it work when compared to Sata SSD? I mistakenly jumped the gun in purchasing it because i got it brand new for 35 dollars... Yes 35 haha.

Since you paid so little, any speed loss with an adapter I'd live with, since a 500 GB EVO mSATA SSD is $175 or more.

There are adapters available for mSATA to m.2, have not used any of those myself though. But I have used an mSATA drive in a regular SATA adapter, that works fine and I personally have done is at least twice.
