Upgrading your GPU without upgrading your PSU will just result in bottlenecking, which will result in reduced performance and poor FPS.

I'd suggest waiting for AMD Zen if you want to stay with AMD, or if you're in a hurry the FX-8350 is the best available, though still far behind anything Intel has to offer right now, even in the mid-range market.

I understand, but what you need to understand is that with the CPU you have, it will hold back any higher GPU you try to use. You won't see any significant FPS improvement.

The GTX 960 will be a fine upgrade from your GT 730. The only issue is with your PSU. What's the output and/or Make & Model? The GTX 960 theoretically needs an additional 70w (120w total) of power from your power supply over the GT 730 (49w). If your power supply is below 350w then I'd be cautious.

On paper that GTX 960 is 6 times faster than the GT 730. It will be a major increase in performance. Unfortunately, your CPU is a bit on the slow side but hopefully wont hold the system back too much.

It's a pre-built system, I needed a pc back then really bad, it's some kind of a shitty 350 Watt PSU

Well, if it's a 350w PSU then it should do the job. I'd suggest upgrading to something like this eventually: Seasonic S12-II 430w

the psu is a 85% Bronze 350 Watt so I dont need to change it..

It's only a suggestion. You should be fine with what you have now. Also, the efficiency rating means little in respect to PSU quality. For example, a Hyundai with 150 HP vs a BMW with 150 HP will be two completely different quality machines.

this means absolutely nothing

it could be a fake chinese piece of crap that blows up when you try to get 200w out of it

what matters is make and model, and the actual "guts" inside of the unit
