Hi All,

I have a pc powered by an A8 7600, I started the build broke and wanting a graphics power more than intel can offer on their IGPU within a low price range. Now, I have a money and I really wanna feel performance increase in terms of gaming, and I wanna go with RX 480, currently I am using a 1366 * 768 monitor but im planning to jump to 1080p. I know there would be a bottleneck with this, I also though of jumping to i3 Skylake + an Rx 460 which would be the same price as of the RX 480 alone here. What do you guys recommend? Thanks.

Radeon Software Version - 16.7.3
Radeon Software Edition - Crimson
Graphics Chipset - AMD Radeon(TM) R7 Graphics
Memory Size - 2048 MB
Memory Type - DDR3
Core Clock - 720 MHz
Windows Version - Windows 10 (64 bit)
System Memory - 8 GB
CPU Type - AMD A8-7600 Radeon R7, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6G

The 7600's low base clock will hold back a 480 badly mate.
However a skylake i3 would also require a new motherboard & ram so I highly doubt i3+ddr4+new motherboard+ 460 is going to be the same price as a 480 alone??!!

Is the 860/880k available where you are??
An upgrade to one of those & a rx470 which should be 15-20% cheaper than a 480 would be the best compromise IMO.

Or just getting this

vga radeon: Sapphire RX 480 Nitro+ OC 8gb
PHP 15240.00 — Graphics Cards

I'm here in the philippines, and they don't sell the 860k sadly. What I'm thinking is getting first the GPU then upgrade to skylake when I have the bucks for it. I was just thinking of getting 460 first but my pride is telling me to go for RX 480 and doesn't care if the world will be rediculed by my decision. hahaha

^ that ram is laptop memory so for sure don't go buying it anyway.

& yes if you think you may be able to upgrade your CPU by all account go for the rx 480 now
Its twice as powerful as a 460 which is pretty much a bargain basement bottom end gaming card.

Just be aware that you will not likely push 60fps with that 7600 , if your happy with ultra/maxed graphics running mid 40's most of the time then you won't be disappointed .
