Mouse urine on my GPU

When I turned on my PC last before any issue was evident, my gpu (R9 280x) failed to display a signal and fans went to 100%. Upon opening my case, I realised my PC had become Stuart Little's new toilet. Furthermore, I discovered feces and urine upon the PCB of my gpu.

I have since wiped and cleaned the PCB with isopropyl and allowed sufficient time to dry. When placed within the case and turned on, no signal displayed. I repeated this a few times until I was able to get a display up and loaded into windows. After 5 minutes, however, the display was lost and the fans maxed out once more.

I have since had one glimmer of hope, I was able to load into BIOS before losing the GPU once more. Something I found peculiar was that the CPU fan didn't initiate until after a minor period.

Is there any chance for my poor old R9 280x?

Would love your help, thank you.

Down to PCB is as far as you can get... As for washing we always used hot water, but still one you can bear on hand and just shower sprayed the cards from all sides thoroughly. Then let it dry (we kept it drying 2 days as minimum plus about half hour for both sides in front of big floor fan, it's prolly overkill but better safe than sorry).
Tbh being you I'd go to a computer service shop. If they can clean it and try it out and something fails big time, they are insured (or, rather, should be), your remaining computer components are not...

If that's the case, you should check for oxidation, liquid damage, specially when those kinds of liquids are a big issue, they corrode connections on the PCB/components. You might need to replace some components, I'd leave it to a professional. If the repair is less than 100$ it's worth it to get it fixed, if not, searched well enough, you can get a 7970/7950/280/280X for 100-150$, if you do find them, go for that instead.

Hmm well on my latest advance on the PCB I rather foolishly, and brutishly, rubbed at a bit of oxidised componentry. In the act of doing so, a small metal component of some description flew off. Oh well, might be time to rustle up some mula. Thanks anyway

It would suprise my if mouse products were able to kill the card... Is nothing bitten (power cords) etc.? Check the card connectors or slot isn't burnt.

From my experience from computer shop years back the components can survive quite a bit (little kids drool or urine, hot coffee, beer "marked" pieces survived, something resembling coke spilled on a card killed it). When everything else fail, dismantle and use hot shower, but let it dry afterwards REALLY GOOD.
