Hi,

I just bought an Intel 6800k and an Asus Strix x99 mainboard (Ram is G.Skill F4-3200) and now it is the first time I try to overclock something.
As cooler I use a Noctua NH-D15S.
I’m not sure if I’ve made everything correct and I don’t want to break a part of my new (expensive) hardware.
I watched a few videos on YouTube but unfortunately I haven’t found one where exactly my hardware was used…
However, in all of the videos they just changed the Core Ratio Limit to “Sync All Cores” and adjusted the multiplier…
I used 42 as multiplier and a CPU Core Voltage of 1.3
Can someone tell me if this is a good setting?
When I run a Benchmark of the “Asus Intel Extreme Tuning Utility” (~5mins) I got a result of 1731 Marks. The Highest CPU Temperature was 72° and the Maximum Processor Frequency was 4.16GHz

Cheers,
Stefan
