I saw a review video done some time ago and I cannot for the life of me remember by whom or what product it was specifically, but basically it was a bunch of gpus attached meant to go into a system in a sli/crossfire configuration. I want to say that it was 3 cards, and they had that really bad stiff rigid tubing connecting them and the wires were super long.

anyway can anyone remember that? Also anyone know if there is a similar product with 2 gpus (preferably the 1080)

no the cards were all attached and sold as one unit. it was like a specialty thing done. I want to say linus or jayztwocents are the one who reviewed it.

I don't know, but I will research it and have an answer for you.

Background: It's interesting because back when Jay reviewed this, he commented that Gigabyte and other partners, should make a version of AIO closed water loop for just one GPU. Then sometime after that, many of the partners released such a product.

My suggestion: I recommend that you not get the Gigabyte Waterforce 3X (or 2X) and instead purchase two individual GPUs with AIO closed water loops. Why? Because at some point in the future, you will want to upgrade. I just searched Ebay and there is not a single sold listing for that product. I suspect it sold very poorly on the open market as well. You will have an extremely tough time selling this item in the future, because most people don't even know it exists. And the ones that do will either purchase two individual AIO's or will opt for a custom water loop.

I attempted to call their customer support number, on your behalf, but unfortunately they are closed at the moment. I've pasted the phone number below, for you to contact them in order to inquire.

I suspect that they discontinued the product due to poor sales. In addition, Nvidia's decision to no longer support 3-way SLI really screwed Gigabyte on this market. Even though you're only seeking 2-way GTX 1080, I still think buying two GTX 1080 hybrids makes more financial sense, when it comes to resale. If this is a new build for you, I'd opt for a Fractal Design Define S case, which is well suited to water cooling; it has no 5 1/4" drive bags/cages. At the bottom, I've pasted the official link to this particular product that you're inquiring about. Let me know if you need any assistance with your build goals.
