i'm considering upgrading my strix gtx 960 4gb, and i'd like to know if the asus dual rx 480 is one of the better rx 480 non reference cards. please help!

Solution
Asus is a good brand. I personally like Sapphire for AMD ...MSI has a nicer RX480 is not the best version at the moment.

Could anyone offer more input on this gpu? From reviews the Asus dual series seems okay, but if I wanted to max out settings on a 60Hz Monitor. Is this a good gpu for the price point?

I really don't want to spend more than 240. If anyone has any input on this Asus dual rx 480 4gb, that would be cool.

Its a great card man, very fast. Its a very good deal if you can grab one at $200. That is if you dont mind it dont having a blackplate or RGB lights. In terms of performance, is right there where you want a 4gb rx 480 to be. Just make sure that is the OC version of the card, as there is another model which is just the regular 4gb and is not factory overclocked. I grabbed mine at amazon at $200 and im enjoying a lot playing on my pc now on a 60hz Monitor at max settings. Prices are fluctuating on amazon, so you can just wait for it to grab it at a low price point.

It is noisy under load. Has a 0db mode tho, so for casual pc usage it would be completely silent. For gpu intensive apps it will be a bit noisy. For me personally, i dont mind the noise, as it does not affect game sound coming from my speakers.
