Core i7 6700K on H110M chipset?

I want this processor because of 4.0Ghz base clock. I don't have plans on overclocking too. Most of the people say get Z170, but can a simple H110M chipset handle this well?

yes. it will work, you can also go to the mobo manufacturer website and check the cpu supported list

Yes it's 100% compatible , and fine to use on a non Z board.

That's somewhat of a steep premium for not wanting to OC and only 100MHz extra. Keep in mind that on top of the higher CPU price, you will also need to get your own HSF since the 6600k/6700k lack a stock HSF.
