I was an idiot who decided that right beside my wobbly desk was a good spot for my mid/high end PC to sit below. Which was obviously the wrong move, I sat down on my chair and knocked over the glass straight onto the top of my pc. I am not sure what is broken though, this is the situation. I was running the PC at near full whack when i spilt it. Around 200ml of liquid landed into the case, My graphics card is huge! R9 290 Tri-x , I assume the majority landed directly on the GPU board and the motherboard. Not sure where the spark came from. When I boot the PC it spins all the fans on every component then dies in around 5 seconds. The first time i turned it on was around 10 minutes after the spill, the motherboard had a flashing bue light, meaning a short occured, when i took the GPU out it stopped. but still only started for around 5 seconds before shutting off. any ideas what is broken.?
