Question about which GPU to use?

I have a MSI 390X 8GB and a Sapphire 295X2 8GB. I was planning to sell the 295X2, but read online that the 295X2 is better. In times of doubt, I turn to this forum........which should I use? I plan to OC so also which would be better in terms of OCing as well?

The 295X2 is much faster, but at 500w it's really power hungry and produces a lot of heat. As for overclock, neither is very good, but given the performance gap, you wouldn't need to overclock the 295X2. If you want straight out performance at any cost, then the 295X2 is by far the better card.

I wouldn't be worried about the VRAM. I've seen videos where the 292X2 out performs the GTX 1080 at the higher resolutions, this would suggest there is nothing wrong with the VRAM performance.

The VRAM will not likely come into play very often. If you are at 4K it probably would matter, but otherwise only a few games or game mods will use more than the 295s 4GB per GPU. Shadow of Mordor can, Skyrim mods can. Maybe a few more will in the near future but for now the 295 is far more powerful.

Yes, your PSU is more than enough for it, and why use the 390X when the 295X2 is almost twice as powerful.

ok, thank you, the reason is that i RMA the card two times already.......but that is probably due to the fact that before, i didn't have good airflow in my case...........also is ebay the only option i can sell it on or are there better options?
