Ive seen a lot of normal PC gamers with dual screens or 3 screens and i dont understand what they do with those screens. I understand that streamers need all the space they can get for the game, recording software, chat etc and same goes with youtubers.

Apart from lookin cool, what practical uses come with having a mulitple monitor setup as a normal PC gamer. By normal i mean someone who plays games by themselves or with friends and doesnt record and upload. This normal user uses his/her PC for gaming and no other purposes.

Not sure if this is the right forum for a question like this so if it is not, im sorry

thanks :)

There are 2 kinds of multimonitor setups. The first is where your game is on one screen and only 1 screen. The other is used for browsing the web, reading emails, watching shows, or opening a second game.

The other is where you extend out to multiple screens. This increases your field of view. Your first screen stays the same, the rest extend out that way. triple monitor would give you extra left right viewing for racing games, others go more extreme. This is where you see resolutions like 5760 x 1080, as you have 3 screens horizontally at 1920 each.
