First off, I want to link to the two components spec. pages for reference:

G.Skill
MSI Board

So the specifications seemed okay to me when I purchased. But after setting it all up, the auto-settings seem to be running the RAM at 2133. I see that the MSI only runs up to 3200 through OC, is that what is preventing me from utilizing all the speed of my RAM? Any time I attempt to alter the speed in the BIOS, the PC will run for a bit, then crash and revert. I seem to be having the same issue when I attempt to use the BIOS to OC the processor (i7-6800), even just .10Ghz up. Is there something wrong with the board, or has anyone with these two pieces found a successful setup? Forgive my ignorance, I have not built a PC in years, any help is greatly appreciated!

Solution
With 3200 DRAM it may require an OC of the CPU to carry the sticks at 3200, also possible with voltage adjustments if the CPU's MC (memory controller) is strong enough. Make sure you have the latest BIOS, then enable XMP and set the DRAM voltage to 1.4 and give it a try. No joy, back into the BIOS and raise the VCCIO voltage + 0.07 and try....if still no joy try an OC on the CPU (what CPU by the way ?
