Hi all. Please forgive me, I know there's already a ton of posts about the GTX 1060 but I couldn't find what I was looking for.

So I'll get to the point:

I'm looking to purchase a desktop soon, I needed to know, what kind of port am I looking for that will be compatible with that card. Pretty newb question, it's been a while since I've delt with desktops and such so I'm a bit rusty.

By port, do you mean the expansion slot in the computer to take the card? If so, the 1060, like all modern graphic cards uses PCIe x16 gen 3. Just about any modern motherboard and most pre-built computers will have at least 1 of these slots.
