I have read on websites that it supports up to a maximum of 8GB (2x4GB) DDR2 RAM. The problem is that all the 2x4GB DDR2 RAM I find is either for servers or says "FOR AMD ONLY, EXCEPT 780 and 785 CHIP SET) And the chipset is a 785. I would like more RAM for this machine as it only has 3GB.

Solution
In essence any DDR2 ram stick or ram kit will run on just about any motherboard that supports that module meaning that your board can accept any DDR2 kit so long as it's rated at or between 1.8v and 2.2v and has the maximum frequency of 1066MHz but it'd be safer for you if you went with DDR2 800MHz 2x4GB kit that is easily accessible to you, e.g Ebay.
