Suddenly experiencing invisible text boxes (among other issues).

"Suddenly" my computer has been experiencing a number of issues which are making it nearly unusable.

The issues are as follows:
-Invisible/empty content boxes when right clicking and hovering over items that usually display tips. The outline of a text box will appear, but the contents are transparent...if I press "PRT SCRN" on the keyboard in an attempt to show you what it looks like, it fixes the issues (at least until I hover over something else or right click again).

-Programs not opening when I attempt to launch them.

-Windows create weird "trails" when I drag them (similar to that mouse pointer tails affect).

-What seems to be very laggy/slow loading of simple processes (i.e. opening Chrome, accessing windows directory, displaying live updates in task manager, etc.)

-*Update* Starting Windows in safe mode seems to eliminate the issue, so I'm guessing its not a hardware issue.

It seems that Mozilla Firefox is the only program (which I have tried so far) that works without issue.

I say this has happened suddenly; however, I have not really used it much over the past 2-3 weeks, so I'm not sure exactly when this started happening. As a result, I am unable to pinpoint any specific changes which might have caused this. Today I restored to a restore point created on Aug 14th, however, this did not fix the issue.

Could you please let me know what you think?
Thank you.

*Update* Holding print screen seems to force the graphical issues into "working". Also, task manager shows my system to be using 3.9 gb of ram with just Mozilla open.

Solution
I've been selecting under OS "Windows 10 64 bits" and "certified/recommended" instead of all to avoid beta releases. I guess that anniversary edition is what's preventing u to see the other version that should run with no issue at all.
Could be a virus either causing such effects or most likely consuming your pc resources leading to those issues. Starting your pc on safe mode is avoiding the virus to be loaded hence it all runs ok. Start by updating your antivirus and scanning your system. Do that as well with malwarebytes and lets see how it goes after the results.

I ran malwarebytes. No issues were detected. I also rant Norton Security. No issues found. Norton Power Eraser. No issues found. Oddly enough, holding down print screen "Helps" the issue by making the invisible text issue go away. However, I am still experiencing the other problems.

Uninstalling the driver seems to fix the problem. When I reinstall the issues come back. I have an Geforce 770 on Windows 10. I cant' seem to find a list of drivers...just the newest one. As a result, it would seem that for the time being I'm just going to have to run my graphics card without any updates...which seems to work fine.

I wish I could just roll back to a previous version of the driver though.

See, that's what I was thinking. but when I search it only shows the most recent even though I have "All" selected.
My information is as follows: GeForece; GeForce 700 Series; GeForce GTX 770; Windows 10 Anniversary Update 64bit; English (US); All

I wonder if there is a reliable database from which I could download older versions... Or do you think I could run a copy from Win 8.1 until the release a patch?

Oh Sh*t!! Whaddup! Thats amazing...yea. I guess I will try installing one of those. I didn't even notice normal old Windows 10. All I saw was the anniversary edition.

Thank you so much!!! You can't believe how much help you have been. I just started a new semester at school and most of my coursework is computer based, so this was really becoming an issue.

I will see if any of these updates fix it and try to remember to come back and post the fix.
Thanks again!
