I am wanting to build a computer. I have never built one before but was always curious to. My birthday is coming up and I think that will be a fun project.

I would like to:
• game on my computer (I want to get into it)
• connect a Xbox and game like that
• be able to use virtual reality
Have a good amount of storage (maybe around 1 Tera Byte)
• Run Windows 10
• have thunderbolt connectivity
(Or I will buy a adapter)
• I already have a monitor and it connects via thunderbolt
I don't need peripherals I might go buy some razer ones.
[If anyone knows any tips and tricks or tutorials on building a computer for the first time]
• I would like a little bit of ram (like 16 GB)

Solution
I built this one previously- it comes in a bit below your budget. It's got some high performance with room for some upgrades- it can be changed around easily. Only negative is no overclocking, but that's difficult to fit in with that price.

Solution
Some poor component choices in there such as RAM, CPU and motherboard.
The video card is also the ITX version, which as a cut down CUDA core count and suffers from limited boosting/overclocking, and worse temps than a full desktop variant.
PSU is also terrible value for money.
I'll post a build below.

Here's what I recommend for you.
