I'm looking to upgrade my Dell Inspiron 545 with a new motherboard and processor. Would this fit in to my existing Dell Inspiron 545 Mini-tower case:

  • ■ CPU: Intel Core i7-6700 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($488.00 @ 1stWave Technologies)
    ■ Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B150M-D3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($143.00 @ 1stWave Technologies)
    ■ Memory: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2133 Memory ($119.00 @ 1stWave Technologies)
    ■ Storage: Dell 500GB hard drive (not sure of make)
    ■ Video Card: PNY GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB Video Card
    ■ Power Supply: SeaSonic 350W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply
    ■ Cooling: Foxconn Brushless 12V 3 Pin Rear Case Cooling Fan

The CPU, Motherboard and Ram are all upgrades, the rest are existing components I have.

Cheers

Solution
Man your case is far spacious than what I had.
I insanely modified DELL Inspiron 580S only because I liked the looks of the case and wanted to use it.

According to Dell these are the dimensions:

Mini Tower
Height: 37.53cm (14.8")
Width: 17.59cm (6.93")
Depth: 44.22cm (17.44")
Weight: Starting at 7.9kg (17.4lb)

Also, do you think these components will be a good upgrade? I'm a design student so I'll be doing a bit of 3D modelling, using Adobe products. I want to dual-boot with Mac and I play video games.

Cheers
