Hi everyone, I have to build another pc but I don't want anything slower for gaming / multitasking. My pc build is as follows ;
FX 9370 4.7 ghz
Asus sabertooth R2.0
2 x Sapphire R9 290X's
Cooler Master M2 silent pro 1000w
2x 1TB Samsung Evo pro
2x 500GB Samsung Evo
3xWestern Digital 1TB 10,000 RPM
AMD performance 1866 (8x4) 32GB
A few other stuff but that's the main stuff. I had it stored for a year, worked. Amazing, every game on ultra played any game . I want an upgrade but now they all have new GPU and I don't know what is closest to my system and better . Reviews have me worried because most chips are not meant for gaming. I built this pc 4-5 years ago , so I guess it's time, any suggestions be much appreciated.
Thank-you in advance :)

What's your budget?

Crossfire 290X's are still totally viable. If I were you, I'd replace the CPU, Mobo, RAM & PSU (some of the likely components that were damaged) and reuse everything else.

Leaves you with:

I don't think a full rebuild is necessary though. Your GPUs and storage are still very capable

Well at first my windows would not boot no ssd , hhd had windows but 2 of them did ,my rom didn't work , my CPU light came on now nothing boots , just fans go ...... I paid so much at the time each gpu was 850 lol
Back of gpu wouldn't let me use the output, I have 3x 27" monitors and only 1 would work. So I think my cpu gone now too.
I haven't tried since.

You need to try piecewise. Try each piece in a different computer (HDDs are easiest to check, just use an external enclosure) if possible, if not reduce the load as much as possible, remove all the disks, drop your second card, underclock CPU, and hope something turns on.

If you need a full replacement with the same performance,

Plus whatever disks you need to replace. Yes, cost went down quite a bit for GPU performance ;)

Don't you mean less than 3 years ago? A FX-9370 came out in 4Q 2013 as did the R9 290X's. How exactly did Static Zap anything if you have it all in a case which is all self grounded? Even if you short the power plug that particular supply is not going to zap the internals. I would plug the speaker into the board and see if you have any beep codes, a boot order issue could be caused by most anything but the most common faults are GPU and Memory modules not making good contact.

I can put out few grand , I'm thinking maybe going Intel tbh , maybe I7 5930x or whatever other gaming CPU (atleast 6 core) and a kickass motherboard..... I'm sick of waiting for new amd chip lol

You do know you can move components around right?
Here's what you should do:
1) Get a new PSU, 99% chance your current one is broken, it was a mediocre unit for it's price anyway (not bad per-say, but not particularly amazing either, and price was really high!). If you plan on SLI with those cards (if they work), get an 850W EVGA G2, Corsair RMx, or a seasonic unit. If not, 650W is more than enough
2) Plug that PSU into one of your other units and put it in the larger case. After that mount the GPUs one at a time to check if they work
3) Test the memory in the other machines if compatible
4) If you have a smaller GPU (power wise), put that in the old motherboard+cpu and test.
5) Repeat similar actions until you've tested everything
6) Report back with what is broken

You can add in your old SSDs as well and have a pretty much unstoppable system
